Happy Holi!
Dear Bloggers,
Today was Holi! Happy Holi all! I will say everything about that at last.
I studied 2 lessons of Physics today, could've studied more if I wouldn't have sat with daddy watching our Album Photos. Life was so great back then. Everything was so simplified.
Today, I did Smule and as usual I sang a few songs and did some acting and well this time. I performed some scenes from my favorite movies 'Harry Potter' where the 1st one was "Cedric's death" and 2nd was "Rise of Voldemort Part 1" and from Descendants 2 I performed "Mal and Ben Argument" scenes. It was really fun.
One more thing, did I forgot to say this one yesterday?
Its been 15 years since Hannah Montana first aired on TV. Well I don't know that well as I was just 1 or maybe not. I'm 16 now, will be 17 on April. Well, Hannah wrote messages to all the stars on Instagram and Twitter. Hope, Hannah Montana has a reboot with worldwide auditions. It one of my all time favorite show. I can't choose between Harry or Hannah. Also, Barbie (that'll always be, of course) :):) I want to play the part of Hannah in it.
Another thing,
In Smule, there is supposed to be a competition. Last submission or entry of this competition would be 6th April. I have to participate in this one as its English song. Although the choices that is given is different from my music taste. I mean, I haven't heard those songs. So by 6th have to learn any one best one.
Tomorrow,
Mummy's first day of new office. Which I don't like but for a few days she has day shift the later UK. shift. The night shift.
A BAD NEWS :(
Remember I once told you that I visited Doctor due to some acne problems? The Doctor gave a face wash that didn't work? Well, that Doctor is no more now. He had been a really good person. He used to hep poor people and used to treat them for free. He had helped many people. He had really almost 3 generations of my family. Only 75 or something. That's a big loss for all of us. Why does God always take good people away? Seriously 'Death' is one of the worst thing that happens in life.May his soul rest in peace. I couldn't believe it at all that I can't see him anymore
ABOUT...
HOLI, 'A FESTIVAL OF COLOURS"
Holi is a festival celebrated in India. It is mostly called as 'Festival of Colors" as this festival is about colours. This festival comes at the end of March. This year it came on date, 27th March.
This is a 2 day festival.
The first day is celebrated as "Holika Dhawan" (Burning of wood) The meaning of doing this is burning of evil (here, wood) and turning it into ashes. Like a start of something new.
The second day it actually when the fun begins. When people put colours on each others. Celebrating good over evil that happened the previous day.
People apply colours on each others face and say "Happy Holi!" Kids and adults alike play with colours through "Pichkaari" (a tube or jet spray that is filled with coloured water) adnd make each other wet. Some, use water balloons, balloons filled with coloured water. Whereas some play it dirty by through eggs on each other. The holi played with water is called "Wet Holi" and the holi that is just played drily without water is called "Dry Holi"
People also drink a drink called "Bhaangh, its sweet milk that has some essence of alcohol. I haven't tasted it yet. Its not for kids and its not proper. I just don't know.
Anyway, this beautiful festival is actually celebrated due to an ancient story.
The story is something like a Prince was baby when a demon comes to take him and takes him through the fire but the baby escapes and the evil dies. Something like that I don't remember it quite nicely.
Or maybe the story was like , yeah...the Prince's name was Holika and his father gives him a promise or something and he walks through the fire as his father asked to keep his promise but he comes out unhurt.
Those are the stories I know of but I am not sure.
Although, in my opinion...this is a festival when a lot of water is wasted for no reason. Due to all that playing holi thing, a lot of water is wasted for no sense. Thus, I'd say that 'Dry Holi" is the best.
💤Dream of the day-
I forgot.
💭Thought of the day-
One lies leads to hundred lies.
